What's covered
- Workmanship on every chimney repair, install, sweep, and inspection we perform
- Materials we install (passed through from manufacturer warranties — 1 year minimum)
- Re-inspections requested due to suspected workmanship issue
- Warranty stays with the home — transferable to new owners free of charge
What's not
- Damage from acts of God (storms, lightning, earthquakes)
- Damage caused by third parties or DIY modifications after our work
- Pre-existing structural issues outside the scope of the original job
- Normal wear & tear consistent with chimney aging
These aren't us being cheap — they're standard industry exclusions. Independent insurance often covers many of these.
