Where the chimney meets the sky is the best-spent dollar on the whole structure: a correct cap and a sound chase cover keep water out, and water is what quietly eats masonry from the inside. Our team specs by alloy and gauge, leading with stainless and copper because they outlast the chimney they sit on, and naming galvanized honestly as the budget floor when that is what fits the plan. Every cap, cover, and damper here is sized to your flue from a real measurement, so nothing is a guessed stock fit that leaks around the edges.

Liner & Firebox

This is the category we hold most firmly to install-only, because a relining job is a fire-safety system and not a box you fit on a Saturday. Alloy is the entire conversation here: 316Ti for wood and high heat, 304 where the fuel allows. We supply the firebox repair components and accessory hardware, size every liner to the appliance listing, and set it to UL 1777 so the passage behind your centerpiece is sound as well as good-looking.

A solid-copper chase top, fully sloped and standing-seamed, cut to your exact chase: the cover that outlives the house and ages into a patina instead of rusting into a stain down your siding. When the chimney is a real feature of the elevation, copper is the only cover we would put on it, because it never needs replacing and the lifetime cost beats a galvanized top you would redo twice. We template the chase ourselves, since a cover that is only close is a cover that lets water in.

A full stainless top that caps every flue and overhangs the crown to throw water clear of the masonry: the lasting answer to a cracked crown. Rather than patch concrete that will only re-crack, we cap the whole top in steel that sheds water for good. We will also tell you plainly whether the crown needs repair first or whether the cap on its own solves the problem.

A roof-mounted variable-speed fan on a sensor control that mechanically draws smoke up a stubborn flue and holds a steady draft. This is the last resort and never the first: nine times in ten a height correction, a cap change, or a liner sizing clears it for less, so we diagnose the draft fault before we ever quote a fan. When the geometry genuinely cannot draft on its own, this is the engineered fix, commissioned so it truly stops the smoke-back rather than masking it.

A cementitious cast-in-place system with form or bladder and mortar that rebuilds a deteriorated flue in place, restoring a smooth, insulated, code-rated passage inside the existing masonry. It is the lasting answer for a historic or oversized flue where a stainless liner simply cannot be sized in: done right it is permanent and it strengthens the chimney. We never sell it as materials, because this one lives or dies entirely on the install.

Stainless Steel Flexible Liner Kit — Full (316Ti / 304)

A complete 316Ti or 304 stainless flex liner with cap, top plate, tee, connector, and clamps to reline a masonry flue for wood, gas, or oil. Alloy is the whole conversation here: 316Ti for wood and high heat, 304 where the fuel allows, and we will tell you which your appliance requires rather than push the lighter grade to shave a dollar. A Level-2 camera inspection comes first, then we size the liner to the flue and the appliance and insulate it. Supply-and-install only, because a flex liner kinked or under-clamped on a DIY pull is a flue fire waiting to happen.

A sealed glass-front gas appliance that drops into an existing masonry firebox for high-efficiency, room-rated heat: the way to turn a drafty open fireplace into a real heater and a centerpiece you use every night. Sealed combustion means it does not pull your heated room air up the chimney, and direct-vent means it draws and exhausts through a coaxial pipe we run and seal. Install-only, because the gas line, the vent run, and the block-off are all safety-critical: this is a job, not a delivery.
